Exercise Station #1

In just 4 minutesget an aerobic workout like never before…no-impact, moving vertically, totally against gravity, and striving for the deepest of strides!

Exercise Station #2

In just 4 minutesgain flexibility beyond belief…by using a full range of motion through arms, shoulders, back, chest, hips, and abs to both stretch and strengthen!

What is ROM?

Description:
ROM (Range of Motion) is the 4-Minute Cross-Trainer Machine. The ROM is the solution to “needing to exercise”, “don’t want to & don’t have time to do it” dilemmas. Two 4-minute workouts will give you a full-body workout with a time expense of as little as 10-15 minutes, two to three times a week; build strength, flexibility and significant cardio benefits.  The ROM works great for a 90 year old that is out of shape, as well as, the highly trained athlete.  This one you have to see & try to believe!

How It Works:
Two stations – 4 minutes each with a couple of minutes rest in between.

The upper body station consists of rowing while seated; it provides resistance both pushing and pulling, as well as opening the chest to help posture and stretching the low back for flexibility.

The lower body station works like a stair climber; but as the resistance changes, so does the intensity and range of motion.  The depth of the stair-climbing steps goes as deep as 28”; no-impact, moving vertically, totally against gravity.

With the two 4-minute workouts you will get in return an equivalent to 30-45 aerobic activity, 20-30 minutes of strength-training & 20 minutes of flexibility workout.  It is not an easy four minutes, but you get the job done!

How? – The amount of oxygen consumed during any activity is determined by 4 factors:

  • Total muscle mass involved in the activity
  • Range of motion of the muscles determines the % of muscle cells involved.
  • Number of repetitions of muscle movement per minute.
  • Resistance load that is worked against by the muscles.
For instance; walking involves a total of 4% of body cells involved in the oxygen consumption, and 44% is used in one station on the ROM; definitely a high-intensity interval workout.
